ShioCast started the way most radio tools should: on air, mid-show, wishing the software understood the job.
Every member of the team has spent real hours behind a desk — community stations, independent podcasts, late-night internet radio. The tools were either professional systems priced for broadcasters with a transmission budget, or consumer apps that fell apart the moment a show got serious.
ShioCaster is the studio we kept wishing existed: one application that mixes, records and sends a show live, with the polish you'd expect from a Mac app and none of the cable spaghetti. Companion and ShioCast Cloud grew naturally out of the same idea — the studio in your hand, and the platform behind the scenes.
We're a small, independent team. No growth-at-all-costs roadmap, no features designed to lock you in. Just software for people who make radio, built to keep up with the show.
